Open Question: Does this girl like me or not?
2 months ago, I met this girl from a friend. I’m a guy. Anyways, she was really nice, pretty and fun. We had a lot in common. Before I left, I kissed her hand and said bye. She blushed. she lives like 30-45 mins away from me. Afterwards, we found each others facebook. We began talking and flirting. She’s a really shy girl with low self-confidence. I’m always complimenting her smile and how beautiful she is. She seems flattered but doesn’t buy it. So, I asked her a few times if she ever wanted to go out sometime on a date. She gave me weird responses saying “idk lol” or “maybe…” I even asked her a few times if she likes me, she says “haha I like you as a friend xD” I’m like… what? She told me once that she had bad experiences in liking guys. Not going out with them, but liking them. I also, I began to call her. at first, she was shy to talk on the phone, then later on, she got used to it.

Sometimes she will text me first when I don’t text her for a few days. Recently, out of nowhere. She asked me if I ever went to prom. I said no. And she was saying oh, “I want to go. But I have no date”. She was obviously dropping hints if I can take her. So I said “are you trying to ask me if I can be your date to the prom?” “she puts well…” then “lol would you be my prom date?” I told her, “lol are they’re any other guys you wanna go with or guys that wants to ask you.” She said ‘”No, not many likes it” or “I dont have much guy friends” All of that sounds like a load of BS to me. I asked her why me from all people? She said she doesn’t wanna be the 3rd wheel of her group. I was teasing her saying “yeah you like me and you won’t admit it.” She was saying “lol omgosh I’m gonna change my mind.” I told her, I kinda don’t wanna be used for that. My feelings were kinda hurt from that.

Lately, she stopped texting me. Each time I text her, I get nothing in reply. Then, I got feed up with the non-responses, So I deleted her number. Yeah, I know. Very stupid of me. She started talking to me first for a little. So I send her a facebook message asking her for her cell phone number again. She asked me, “huh, what happened?” I lied and said, “oh I accidentally deleted your number XD haha sorry” she replies back saying “omgosh -.- lol” Yet, she still hasn’t given me her number. So I asked her again. But she still didn’t reply. But lately, she has been talking to me first on my facebook status. Even the things that doesn’t interest her. She was flirting and teasing me too. On one of her friends facebook page, The two were discussing about prom. Her friend asked her, “Did you asked that guy yet?” she replies back saying, “no :/ I haven’t.” her friend says “why not?” and she said, “because it’s worth it.”

But she’s so confusing. I can’t even tell if she truly likes me or not. If you guys can help me out. It will be great. Sorry for the long paragraphs. And thank you.
I’m a 19 year male, who is a freshmen in college.
