Open Question: What is the best scanning option for my Dad’s old photographs?
My father (in his early 80’s) has stacks and stacks of photographs – like most parents/grandparents do. He just bought a TV with a built-in DVD player and SD card slot. I sent him some digital photos on an SD card, and he really enjoyed seeing them. Now, he would like to display some of his old photographs on his TV as well.

He has never owned a computer, and is not interested in that. However, he is gadget-friendly (GPS, cell phone, etc.) and comptetent in operation. He said he saw something on TV about a new portable photo scanner — wondering if there is something that will scan directly to an SD card. Also, I have heard of scanning services at photo labs/Walgreens, etc., and wonding if anyone has experience with that.

I’d really like to make this happen for him, but I really don’t have the time to sit an scan hundreds of photos for him. Thanks in advance.

Open Question: kind feed back what would you do?
If you have been married for 4 years & 8 month and about every other day your spouse tells you to leave that his world will go on with or with out you it don’t matter to him if your around or not,met 6 years ago I had my own place things were rockie but was managing he didn’t he lived with a friend then along came some one got together & he moved in,after moving in started broken things and doing other thing that were real bad then said he’d change wanted to work on it so gave him a chance but it didn’t change it only got worse, again said change but didn’t happen Married him even no I knew he was going to prison for 2 years still friends with an X he(Husband) told my X & me both that we should be together while he was in prison because I had no income or any way to support myself do to illness all the while that he was in prison he wrote me and told me that he was glad that I had some one to help me and a place to live and that while he was in prison that we should be a couple it was ok with him because of the situation’s that he had put me in was very unfair to me, over & over he wrote telling me it was ok & he loved me and wanted me to be there when he got out but when he got out it wasn’t like that at all he has been so mean and cruel & I have been mean & cruel back when he first got out my family & I tried to help him, giving him a place to live,try to help get him a job,gave him money,drove him were ever he needed to go,feed him,bought him cigs,paid for his cell phone but he was very mean to my family& me so no one wanted him around it cause problems with my children & I he would always tell me to go to my X’s & I’m not saying that I was right for going but always being told to go & he don’t care if I’m around or not that his world would go on with out me& he wanted a divorce, made me just want to be with some one else it may not have been the right thing to do but that was a mistake that stopped about 2 years ago he(my Husband) left the state were we lived and moved 750. miles aways we said we were going to divorce but he called & called crying he wanted me back & wanted me to move were he was things would change& he didn’t want a failed marriage but again it didn’t he just got worse so I left moved back 750. same thing again I came back again same thing this has been going on for almost two years now he stays here while I keep moving back & forth every time I go back I try to start a new life & don’t get involved with any one because I’m afraid that if I do he will call & want me back &when I came back he will have that to just throw up in my face & I don’t think that I want to be in another relationship any way, I have no family or friend here and no way to support myself because I am very ill with a chronic condition that puts me in the hospital about every month some times more often I do love him even no he acts the way he dues but it make me very up set he wont let me have any money he only gives me a few dollars here & there & if I spend any of it he wants to no exactly Right to the pennie were it went I have to tell him how many prescription’s I have & the total cost & that’s all I get,he picks out what he wants me to have for cloth,shoe’s,purees,excl if I eat any thing when he’s at work when he comes home & smells that some things been cooked he has to known what it was I cooked excl,I can’t go to the bath room with out him asking me personal questions,there’s two checking account his and ours his has any were from 100.00 or more and ours has 9.00 he has all my pass codes to every account that I have, I have none of his,he tells me that I can only drive the car when he says it’s ok because he has the money & he will only put gas in when he wants me to drive him some were or if he knowns were I’m going & if its ok with him, he can’t drive(license suspended)Therese a few reason that I stay here One is that I hope he’ll change & realize that I love him, not his meanness& I really would like for our marriage to work and because were I come from I can’t get medical help & here they have a program were I can get to see doctor’s & the medicine I need & like I said I have no way to work to support myself & the disability that I have apply for has yet to be excepted & all my family is either helping some one else in the family or has no were them self to stay& I’m sick of moving but right now my husband is telling me to leave & he threatening that if I don’t leave that he will & he will not pay any of the bill’s & have the landlord evict me and when I am thrown out he will move right back in because the landlord’s his boss & he kiss there ass all the time every day he works 8:30 till 5:45 or 6:00 and any Saturday or sunday they want him to or when ever they call he go’s running because there millionaires & he say’s as long as he wants from them he will go when ever they call no matter what else is going on if I’m in the hospital & they want him to go to there house & work on there yard on satu
