Open Question: What could be causing my 14 yr old daughter to become so hateful?
It seems like that once she got into middle school, her attitude has changed and she is so mean to me now. She told me I annoy her with all of my questions that I ask her about school and how she is doing and feeling inside. When I try to talk to her, she cuts me off and ask me to please leave her alone. And yesterday, her grandmother passed away and she asked me why do I keep on being so sad when she is in a happy place and that I should be happy too. I dont understand what has gotten into my little girl. She use to be so nice and sweet but it seems as though once she got into 8th grade, she changed. Her grades are good and she made honor society at school. She has also been more smart mouth with me lately. I told her I was going to take her cell phone away and she told me that she would just go live with her dad( my ex) and he would buy her a new phone. I try talking to my ex about her and he wont listen. He says, when shes with me, shes my problem and when shes with him, shes his problem. He really doesn’t care and I think he might enjoy watching her treat me this way. Is this normal for a teenager to be so mean spirited to their parents?
Open Question: If I buy a cell phone in the US and have it unlocked, will it work on a provider in Canada?
I’m going to the US next week, and am noticing that cell phones are much cheaper there than here in Canada. Especially if you’re in the used market. So I’m just wondering if I purchase a cell phone in the US, and then have it unlocked, will I have a problem using on a provider in Canada? Thanks in advance.

My family will be taking a vacation to Virginia coming up in a few days and we would like to have a cell phone for our trip. Since we hardly ever use cell phones {hard to believe for some} It is not worth signing up for a year long contract so we were told that the way to go would be to get a pay as you go type phone. There are so many to choose from so I was just wondering which would be the best for the money? We live in Northern Pennsylvania and will be traveling to Williamsburg, Virginia.
