Open Question: Lots of cell phone questions?
Ok, so I really love iPhone, and everything about it, and I’m almost positive that I’m gonna get one (on T-Mo). But then there are some things that I really think that I would like a lot that are on Android, like voice-to-text.
So basically, I have a couple of questions, answer as many as possible:
1. What major things does one OS have that the other does?
2. What’s your personal preference?
3. If I use a proxy to get free T-Mo internet on an iPhone, would I still get stuff like Facebook?
4. What Android phone, either just released or coming soon, would you recommend to a 13 y/o that would use lots of social networking, and some internet browsing?
I was also thinking about getting both, some android device and an iPhone, but I’d get the Android later, and using them on a T-Mo plan. It’s just that I don’t want to get one and not like it, because they can get expensive.
Open Question: Why so much hate for illegal immigrants?
The average American breaks hundreds of laws every year including speeding, copywrite infringement (illegal downloading), driving under the influence, littering, using false information on websites (remember that terms of service check box?), wondering off a path in a national forest, talking on a cell phone while driving, drinking before the age of 21, even taking your dog out for a walk without a leash.
Many of those crimes are felonies, and we commit them everyday.
So why so do we dehumanize illegal immigrants so much? Why do we insist on stripping away all of their rights as people? Why does their crime automatically make vicious criminals while the rest of us, still law breakers, get to stay perfect angels in our own eyes?
Are our prejudices creating a double standard?
“They are ILLEGAL.”
Yeah, so are you. That’s my point.
As far as taxes go, their employers pay their taxes like other employees, but illegals can’t claim a refund like other people, so actually they are paying more than other people.
That assumes they aren’t working under the table. But legal people do that just as often too.
