Open Question: Does anyone know something about AT&T’s carrier codes for MMS picture messaging problems?
I have a cell phone that originally was with T-mobile phone (BlackBerry Flip 8200). I had it unlocked and then switched service to AT&T.
I never have been able to send or receive picture messages (MMS), but only text messages (SMS) since I switched to AT&T.
I went to an AT&T retailer today and a sales rep there told me discreetly that it was possible to make the MMS service work. He said what I needed were AT&T Carrier Settings.
Then he showed me on my phone where that would go. It looks like I need a Primary DNS, Secondary DNS, Host and an APN
He said that AT&T’s carrier settings were the same regardless of what kind of phone was being used.
Is he correct? Does anyone know these settings.
