Open Question: Why do my personalized Ringtones on my Verizon Samsung Insight sound extremely bad?
I’m using high/low bit rate mp3s from my computer and cutting them down to 30 second versions to use as Ringtones for my verizon cell fone. Like most, I send the mp3 through my email directly to my phone and use the “save as ringtone” feature, like on most verizon phones. Although whenever I listen to the saved ringtone (once I receive the txt), it’s really bad quality and sounds like it’s been recorded. The ringtone isn’t as clear as it would sound if I were to play the full mp3 off of my fone directly.
For example I cut a 30 second mp3 of the song, Nothing on You by B.o.B. I sent it to my phone and it sounded like crap, but shortly after, I synced the full song onto my phone, and played it. It sounded great, crisp and everything. Why doesn’t the sounds I send to my fone via email sound just as crisp and good?
Open Question: Will a silicon case for cell phone retain more heat.?
I have a Samsung Omnia i910, and when I use internet radio or stream through windows media player my phone gets hot. So I recently bought a kit for my phone and one of the items is a black silicone sleeve for my phone. It’s nice but I am afraid that this will keep more heat stay on the phone instead of escaping it, hence frying my phone. Just wondering if anyone has this similar setup and how it is fairing for you before I try it. Thanks for any help.
