Open Question: Samsung Galaxy Y Wifi problem?
I am using a samsung galaxy y and i have a problem with the wifi at school. First when i got my cell phone i went to school, connected with the wifi network using my username and password and it worked. Then later I updated my firmware using kies. Then next day i tried to connect it again but it just stood “Disconnected”. Then i pressed forget and tried it again but it didn’t work, but my buddy’s iphone 4 worked. Then my buddy tried to log in with his account but it didn’t work.

I tried to factory reset my phone doing
-Settings
-Privacy
-Factory data reset
-Format SD card
-Reset phone

But it didn’t work and my new firmware was still there.

But non-password-networks like McDonalds are working, but i can’t go to mcdonalds everyday.

CAN SOMEONE PLEEEEEEASE HELP ME!!! And can someone tell me how to downgrade the firmware to the original.

Open Question: How to use internet through wifi on a cell phone?
I have an AT&T Samsung Flight phone. My plan only allows calls– no texting or anything else.
Is there a way for me to connect to the internet using wifi?

When I try is says it “failed to connect” …. Do I have to set it up or will it just not work becuase I’m not paying for the internet through at&t?

Okay, so I want to switch to T-Mobile’s monthly plan for 30 for unlimited text, data, and 100 minutes. Where can I buy a phone without having to checkout using a “contract extension.” I want to be able to buy a HTC Amaze or Samsung Galaxy S II, but on Amazon, Best Buy, and Wirefly, when you checkout, you have to enter your contract options and they don’t allow for monthly contracts. If I can get the phone, I can just plop in the new Prepaid SIM, the hard part is getting the actual phone. I would love any help.

Open Question: Samsung galaxy indulge. I want to download photos from my cell phone to my?
computer and store them on the computer and get them off of the phone. The users manual gives instructions for “transferring files to a memory card” using the USB cable but that seems to be describing how to move files from the computer to the phone. The manual also explains how to share via Email, MySpace etc. But isn’t there a way to use the USB cable to transfer pictures in bulk to the Computer?

Open Question: Numerical format on my cell phone randomly disappeared yesterday when I’m on the Internet only help?
I am through Walmart’s prepaid cell service Straight Talk, and I have the Samsung LG340g, Whenever I press and hold the # key to use numerical format on my internet, it no longer works. It has worked ever since I got this phone just fine for the past few months, now the numerical format disappeared when I’m on the internet. It goes from abc, to Abc, to ABC, but skips 123. The numerical format disappeared sometime yesterday. You can’t just use the number pad when you are on the internet on this phone, you have to toggle between formats. It seems like 123 format is disabled completely, and I have talked with support over the phone, no one can’t figure it out. I was transfered around between 3 different customer service representatives. And, I’ve even tired email support on my computer, but issue still has not resolved. I can hit the star key (*) and pull up symbols to key in commas, parenthesis, etc, but 123 format or numerical format skips, like there is some kind of glitch that just happened yesterday. What do I do if no one can’t figure this out because I can’t check facebook, email, or sign onto yahoo answers because my passwords all require numbers in it, and I can NOT type dang numbers anymore. Only happening on my cell phone’s internet browser, I can text and call people just fine.

Open Question: Which phone should I get?
Okay, so I’m looking to get a new Android cell phone. It needs to work with the AWS (1700/2100) bands, as I am using it on T-Mobile. I’m mostly interested in phones that can handle HSPA+ 42.2 Mbps. This severely limits the number of phones which meet all my requirements. There’s the MyTouch Q, which I like because it has a full keyboard, something that I think more phones should have. It’s also the cheapest by 200 bucks. I’m not really interested in the keyboardless MyTouch because the camera doesn’t have a flash. There’s also the HTC Amaze 4G, which has a fantastic camera and NFC support, which interests me a lot. And lastly there’s the Samsung Galaxy S 2, which is similar in specs to the Amaze. Both are supposed to be really good phones.

I mainly use my phone for email, looking things up, camera, and facebook, but I also write Android applications so I will be using the device for testing. I know that I won’t be using the front facing camera. I don’t really think I need dual-core power, especially since the dual-core phones eat battery. I want a phone with a battery that lasts all day (unlike my current phone, which is dead by 2:30pm most days).

What would you recommend? Have you used any of these phones? Tell me what you think about them!

i have a gov. verizon samsung cell phone i see that it has a gps navigation system on it may i use this for free it will probably only be four or less times a year.

Open Question: i need to know what laser projection keyboard i need to buy for my cell phone?
ok so i have always wanted a projection laser keyboard i dont really care which model i get as long as it projects a keyboard now i remember looking into it a long time ago a year or 3 and i had this old crappy flip phone made by samsung that was bluetooth compatible this phone didnt even have a name like it did it was like 2xv34y like a model number or something thats how old this phone was well it said it was compatible and it was that one laser keyboard like the i tech laser keyboard or something well anyways i now have the lg env3 and am planning on getting the casio gzone ravine 2 and i want to know if there is a projection laser keyboard that i can buy that will work on either one of those phones i dont care which phone it is i just want a projection laser keyboard to use for one of the two phones i would prefer to have it work on the ravine 2 but if it only works on the env3 thats fine thanks alot for whoever answers this oh also please include a website link in the answer if you do find one that will work thanks

I bought a Samsung Gravity Smart android phone from T-Mobile a couple of months ago and I “rooted” the phone and deleted some first party apps that I did not want. So my question is that is by rooting the phone did I also unlock the phone?
