Open Question: Free software to convert videos for the iPhone 3gs..?
The file is an mp4 but will not work on the iPhone. I would appreciate it if you could recommend some free software that is simple to use and will work on mac.

Open Question: I would like some advice?
I recently realized how useful a phone with 3g Internet would be. I would check e-mails, facebook, surf the web, I could use Google maps if I was lost or needed directions, check movie times when I’m not at a computer…the list goes on. So the reason I am hesitant is because a phone + minutes + txting + data plan = stupid expensive monthly payments. I can afford the monthly payments but i’m trying to justify doing it. My other option is of course getting an iphone or a zune hd and using them as an mp3/mobile Internet tool. However, the big downside to that is you have to have a WIFI connection to use the Internet and that’s not always accessible. What should I do?
Open Question: 24 month iphone contract seems too long?

I have always been prepaid, I don’t use my phone excessively but probably the normal amount for an young adult..but 24 months seems to long to be in a contract, yet I haven’t seen any 12 month iphone contracts..what are your thoughts?
but do you think that having to pay for 24 months is a good or bad idea..does it save you a lot of money or is it a bad idea?
so what should I do instead..how much (australian dollars) do they cost upfront? Is it a huge deal more?
